R32 Top Speed

I know I've been up to 165mph
and I've seen videos of Rs hitting 170+mph
but what really would be the top speed 180/190/200mph??
If I had unlimited road (salts) with a stage 2 eip turbo kit would I hit the 200mph mark??
if so eip , wanna sponsor this?
what would need to be done to the car to hit a 200mph trap??
weight reduction?
diff gear lengths?
???

i'd be willing to bet that you'd run out of RPM room on the stock gears before you'd even hit 175-185

I believe HPA accomplishes the feat using different gearing (along with the turbo/bi-turbo VR6)

186.42 mph still 13.58 mph away from 200

There was a german press video I saw that had the top German MFGs running their cars on a top-speed track. Der VW Golf R32 hit 324kph (= approx. 201mph) and came in 3rd. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

i rem seeing a HGP Bi Turbo R32 vid doing 200+mph
and HPA.. i thought it was 204 proven (FT565)

I had my EIP stage 1 turbo at mid 170's and let off because it blew my mind how quick it was accelerating! It felt like the needle couldn't keep up with the speedometer. I don't know where my tach was sitting at, but I do remember that it was pulling STRONG! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
